Low Water Pressure; heavier than usual
person on lift; leaking hose, dirt particles in valve;
lift kept under high pressure for extended period of time. |
Fluctuations in city water pressure are
not unusual; replace defective hose, clean valve, turn off water and lower lift slightly each night. |
| Water squirts from top of cylinder. |
Large amounts of water are getting past seal |
Often this corrects itself. If it does not,
clean or replace the seal. |
| White, gray or brown chalky deposit |
High pH, high alkalinity, high calcium
content in water (hard water) |
Clean unit with soft cloth or Scotchbrite®
pad and Formula 409 cleaner (NEVER USE STEEL WOOL
ON YOUR LIFT); apply a good quality car wax and
buff to protect finish. Repeat as often as
needed. |

Clean unit with soft cloth or Scotchbrite®
